Do you run a journal club? A helpful insight from someone at our recently finished 3 day EBM workshop in Oxford was that many journal clubs are boring because the articles are quickly trashed as poor research and nothing changes. Since only 1 in 20 articles passes the EBM journal’s validity criteria, this is likely to occur 19 out of 20 times for journal articles that simply look "interesting."
