randomised (RCTs) or quasi-randomised controlled trials that evaluated surgery (open and closed techniques), antibiotic prophylaxis, non-invasive techniques (eg, management of voiding dysfunction), or any combination of interventions in patients of any age with VUR. 3 reviewers independently evaluated the quality of studies.
