User perception of module effectiveness | It was a one stop shop for things for reviewing evidence-based medicine… It was well defined, what you were getting yourself into. |
I liked the set-up of the modules, how you kind of worked your way through and the mix of teaching you principles and then applying it. I thought that was useful in a clinical setting.
Module 3 (Appraise) was very time consuming and ‘out of proportion’ to the time available in our workload.
I liked the resources, particularly in the last couple of modules. I thought they were applicable to our future practice.
Sometimes I didn’t have time to work through a module in one sitting. It was nice being able to come back to it later, on my own time, whether that be late at night or early in the morning, or at lunch time. The flexibility of having an online module is really appealing to medical residents.
Instructor perception of module effectiveness | The WICKED modules are slicker. And they’re better organised. They are less frustrating to use. And there is not the overflow of information that there is in the (other course). The only one that I would say is a little bit heavy is number 3. |
